The North Cove Yacht Club will again offer a Junior Sailing Program this summer. There will be three two-week sessions, as indicated on the student application Please note that each session is ten days, (except for the first, which excludes July 4th) meeting from 0900 until 1500 on weekdays.
- Session 1– June 25 – July 6, 9AM – 3PM (No class July 4)
- Session 2– July 9 – July 20, 9AM – 3PM
- Session 3– July 23 – August 3, 9AM – 3PM
Youths ages 9 through 15 as of August 3, 2012, may apply for enrollment in one, two or all three sessions. Each session will provide instruction for both beginners and intermediate sailors. In addition to instruction those students in the intermediate class will be encouraged to sail in the junior racing program on Monday evenings from about 1700 to 1930 throughout the six week program.
This year's tuition fees:
- $425 per session for Non-Club member students
- $300 per session for students related to Club members
- $100 deposit with application
Any student whose parents, guardians or other relative who become members of the North Cove Yacht Club by December 31, 2012 will have $125 per session refunded.
We can only accept a limited number of students in each session, so it behooves you to submit your application and deposit as soon as possible. Last year the sessions were fill by mid-March.
Please read the following material carefully and return the completed application and emergency form with a $100 deposit per session to the address below. Applications are considered on a first come first serve basis so do not send or leave your application at the Club as the delay in submission could cost the student a seat in the session.
Please submit a separate application for each student.
