Dyer Racing

Dinghy Racing begins Sunday June 8th at the Commodores Cookout. The cookout starts at 1600 hours but high tide is at 1402 hours. We are asking anyone with an interest in racing to arrive at 1300 hours to help rig up and launch boats. The plan is to take advantage of the high tide and try out the 420’s. We will set up a course in the flats North of the mooring field. Boats and crews can rotate in multiple heats if needed to get everyone on the water. If you are flying solo but still want in the action we can match you up a skipper and/or crew.
If that format works well, we have the following dates penciled in the calendar to take advantage of tides and not conflict with other club events.

• Wednesday June 11th @ 1730 hours
• Friday June 27 @ 1730 hours (Potluck night) includes 420 racing
• Sunday June 29 @ 1730 hours includes 420 racing
