Cruising >Memorial Day Cruise to Coecles Harbor

REPORTING A VERY successful sunglasses cruise this weekend with spectacular weather and wind.  We sailed ALL the way over and halfway back Monday.  Flat sea favorable wind.

We had 6 NCYC boats and one guest boat who hosted the Scaramellas as guests.  THEY hosted the AWESOME hor d'oerves and the NCYC FLEET Saturday night on their New 40 ft Mainship trawler just out of the box.   Extensive photos were taken of all events and embarrasments and FUN that followed.  We will hear more about these guests soon.  They are Dick and Elaine Tilton, avid cruisers, racers  and former marina owners.

Sunday we had the sand castle contest on shell beach with 3 entries.  Photos of the sand castles can be found at the Pictures link at the top of this page. The winners were the Bernharts  as they won the AWESOME APPETIZERS and the SAND CREATIONS awards.
