Until getting the news of the need to have our boats out of the cove on October 13, I had been contemplating various titles and themes for our mini cruise relating to Columbus.... like Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria, Italian foods, and other, even more lame ideas. But none of that matters anymore!!! Celebration Cruise it will be!!!!
Friday, October 10
1700: Cruisers Cocktails in the NCYC clubhouse. Pretend you’re going to be in someone’s cockpit, in other words, bring everything you need: BYOB, glassware, an appetizer to share.
1900: Dinner at Dock and Dine, Saybrook Point. Call to make your own reservation, make up your own table of 4, 6, or 8. When you call (860-388-4665) you will need to let them know that you are with the North Cove Yacht Club Private Banquet.
Saturday’s destination will be announced at dinner.

Good Sailing Plan.... 0900: Depart for Coecles Harbor, Shelter Island, Sailing a leg for the Tigress Trophy.
No Wind Plan 1000: Depart for Hamburg Cove
Storm Plan 0000: Remain in North Cove
1400: Roll Call and Announcements on Ch. 72
1500: Scavenger Hunt hosted by the Bernharts
1700: Cruisers Cocktails
1900: “Planned”-luck Dinner Parties

1400: Geocaching with the Vinciguerras 1630: Cruisers Cocktails, Appetizers and Poker Run Completion
